Sunday, June 13th, 2010, Sleepy Hollow Sprint Tri |
The 2nd annual Sleepy Hollow Sprint Tri will take place on Sunday, June 13th, 2010 at Kingsland Point Park in Sleepy Hollow NY. Needed are 12-18 experienced kayakers to assist with the 1/2 mile swim portion of the event. We expect 225 to 275 participants grouped in waves of 50. The swim will conclude within a 60 minute time frame. This event is produced by the Sleepy Hollow Physical Therapy group and all proceeds benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. There is no registration fee for kayakers and food and refreshment will be provided.

September 12th, 2010, The Hudson River Swim For Life |
Experienced kayakers are needed to assist swimmers 3 miles across the Hudson River from Nyack to Sleepy Hollow. Kayakers will be kayaking starting from Sleepy Hollow to Nyack and then back with the swimmers. This is a total of 6 miles kayaking. Additional kayakers are needed to assist 1 mile swimmers along the shores of Sleepy Hollow. All kayakers will receive refreshments and a t-shirt. A small tax deductible registration fee is required.
