Posted this somewhere else earlier, but can't find it. Have a question. I tried to access "all comments" on the comments page and received a message that I did not have sufficient permissions to access that area. Is that because I only joined the list and am not yet an HRWA member? Was kind of confusing. Earlier, I posted an inquiry about an ambitious trip that my 15 1/2 year old son has proposed. We're both big baseball fans and he came up with the idea of kayaking from Manhattan to Fishkill to go to a Hudson Valley Renegades Class A minor league game in Wappingers Falls. Aside from the need we'll fill for back-up from friends and family, I am curious to hear from the veteran HRWA members about the feasibility of this trip. I realize it will take at least a couple of days of serious paddling with overnights required at camp grounds along the way or otherwise. Am VERY open to insights and suggestions. In addition, we are not kayak owners, so we will need to rent a tandem and some gear. Can anyone make any suggestions in any of these areas? I can be emailed off-blog at amgardneresq@gmail.com.
